Bhaskar Banerjee is a Principal Scientist at Broadcom Ltd. in Santa Clara, California, where he has worked since 2013 designing high speed communication ICs and systems for wired and optical communications. Before joining Broadcom, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas from 2007-2013, where his research focused on the development of millimeter wave and sub-THz wireless systems. He received his B. Tech. degree in 2001 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He has more than 50 peer-reviewed conference and journal papers in the field of microwave and semiconductor IC design for wireless and wired communications.
